Cookie Policy

Last updated: June 19, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how JustHappend uses cookies and browser storage. We keep this minimal by design.

Short version: We use one session cookie to keep you signed in. No advertising cookies. No third-party tracking. No analytics that follows you across the web.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. Local storage is a similar mechanism that stores data locally. Both are commonly used to maintain state between page loads (for example, keeping you signed in).

2. What we use

JustHappend uses browser local storage — not traditional cookies — to persist your session token. This single piece of data:

  • Keeps you signed in between visits without requiring you to re-enter your password.
  • Contains only a session token (a random identifier) — not your email, password, or any personal information.
  • Is cleared when you sign out.
  • Is never sent to any third party.
  • Expires after a period of inactivity.

We may also set a short-lived cookie for CSRF protection on form submissions. This contains no personal information and expires when you close your browser.

3. What we do not use

  • Advertising or retargeting cookies.
  • Third-party analytics cookies (e.g. Google Analytics, Meta Pixel).
  • Social media tracking pixels.
  • Cross-site tracking of any kind.
  • Fingerprinting techniques.

4. Third-party scripts

We do not load third-party tracking scripts on any page. Any third-party libraries we use (for example, a font provider) are self-hosted or loaded in a way that does not send your browsing data to that third party.

5. Your choices

You can clear your session at any time by signing out, which removes the local storage entry. You can also clear browser storage manually in your browser settings — this will sign you out.

If you block all local storage in your browser, you will be unable to stay signed in between page loads. Anonymous Trade preview may still work depending on your browser configuration.

6. Changes

If we ever add additional cookies or storage mechanisms, we will update this policy before doing so and notify registered users.
